It's been a long time since I've been to one of my favorite places in London, the Courtauld Gallery. The building has always been beautiful, with its spiral staircase and spacious galleries filled with one of the best collections of art in the country.我最喜歡的地方之一——倫敦考陶爾德美術館，距離上次游覽已經過去很長一段時間了。這座建筑一直都很漂亮，螺旋樓梯和寬敞的畫廊，里面陳列著一些英國最好的藝術藏品。

I would be lying if I told you I didn't have favourites, and they're mostly up here on the top floor. These fresh, bright rooms are home to the Courtauld's world-renowned collection of impressionist and post-impressionist paintings.如果我告訴你我沒有最喜歡的藏品，那我是在撒謊，因為這些藏品大多在美術館的頂樓。這些清新明亮的房間，收藏著一些舉世聞名的印象派和后印象派畫作。

There's Monet's "Vase of Flowers," which I feel I've never really seen before, but now I can get close to it. I can really appreciate and enjoy it. I love that you can see the thickly applied overlapping strokes of paint.有莫奈的《花瓶》，我覺得我以前從來沒有真正欣賞過，但現在我可以接近它了。我真的很欣賞喜歡這幅畫。你可以看到厚厚的顏料重疊的筆觸。
